Partnering with Joyhome brand team

To help you eliminate unauthorized sellers on Amazon listings, we recommend that you, as the brand owner, immediately take control by creating, communicating, and enforcing a seller agreement. Put a «No Amazon» clause in the seller agreement, and have ALL your existing distributors sign the deal. Once this is in place, existing sellers will become aware of this restriction over time. When they try and restock, they are reminded (by you) that they can not sell on Amazon anymore. In addition, any new sellers that appear on the listing will be sent a «cease» letter pointing out that it violates your brand’s seller agreements they signed.

Of course, you, as the brand owner, CAN (and should) designate a specific seller to represent your brand on Amazon. An Amazon FBA go-to «partner,» if you will. We at JOYHOME BRAND TEAM propose buying inventory from you for resale on Amazon. Specifically, we will send all merchandise directly to Amazon warehouses so that the Amazon Prime buyer population will receive your products between 1 and 2 days, delivered by Amazon. Key benefits include:

Increase in Amazon sales due to having your listings optimized for Amazon Prime buyers (i.e., Fulfillment by Amazon, or FBA)
We would manage the inventory regularly, thereby freeing you from having to do so
Better optimized listings (images, bullets, descriptions, etc.)
Other potential advantages of working with us (e.g., Amazon brand registry, managing Amazon expectations, Amazon ads) warrant further discussion.

When you do this, we become your partner and will add significant value to our relationship with you. There is a perfect chance your sales will increase because we will match your sellers’ current aggregate buying volume. Furthermore, we will perform various services that optimize Amazon sales product listings.

To learn more about us and what sets us apart from the run-of-the-mill Amazon seller, see What We Do

When you are an Amazon Vendor (1P seller), you invoice Amazon directly for your products, and they pay you on whatever terms you have negotiated with them. Amazon then takes charge of listing creation & promotion.

When you are a 3P seller, you aren’t selling “to” Amazon. Instead,  you are selling “on” Amazon. That means that you (or us) must create and promote your product listings – and a lot of “moving parts” need to be managed to get the most out of Amazon.

Now here’s the BIG difference between 1P and 3P…

With 1P, Amazon will not agree to honor your MAP pricing, and whenever their price drops below MAP, which it often will, your brick-and-mortar retail partners will waste no time telling you how much they don’t appreciate this.

When you partner with JOYHOME LLC for 3P selling, your MAP pricing will be honored by us 100% of the time. It’s right in our agreement with you. If we didn’t keep it, that would breach our contract with you.

No. We are an online retailer and your customer. We make bulk product purchases from you, our supplier and partner (taking title to the inventory) for resale online. We earn margin on sales via eCommerce marketplace platform(s) such as Amazon.com. That is primarily how we make a profit.

This is the perfect business model for both of us because our goals match your goals. It’s a win-win relationship all around.
When we partner with a manufacturer/brand owner, we can assume full responsibility for all listings for which we are the seller:
  • Listing creation
  • Images
  • Copywriting
  • Promotions (e.g. Amazon Sponsored Ads)
  • Keyword research
  • Anything else

We can also manage everything that pertains to relations with Amazon and with every customer.

We will communicate with you as regularly as necessary via whatever means is most suitable for you, including

  • Phone
  • Email
  • Skype
  • Other

Sometimes a contract is warranted. But we are most flexible and open to a simple handshake or an outline of our responsibilities via email. In any case, a small market test is usually preferred before committing to a contractual relationship.

Let us prove that we can be a trusted partner to handle as little or as much as you’d like to manage commerce channel(s).

Yes, depending on the nature of your products and brand(s). Your brand may be new, and you haven’t yet listed them on Amazon. In such cases, we need to discuss the growth prospects of your new line of products to determine if there is ample opportunity for us to partner together.

No. We order from you in bulk, and you will ship to one or more prep/pack/ship centers strategically located across the U.S. They will do any necessary prep/packing needed and then send the inventory to Amazon’s warehouse(s), so they can handle the order fulfillment. This is called “Fulfilled by Amazon” (FBA).

Drop shipping may make more sense if we are selling heavy or oversized products. But this will not be typical.

No. We do NOT require exclusivity. On the contrary, we continually buy products from suppliers in hopes of achieving three main goals:

1. Achieve our margin, profitability, and growth objectives

2. Prove to you that we are an excellent customer and give you confidence in our capabilities

3. Build on that success to the point that, in a short time, you will have enough trust in us that you’ll want to give us some exclusivity as a preferred Amazon FBA seller.

And one more critical point…

Should exclusivity be warranted in some way, it certainly doesn’t have to be for all your products. We seek to do a market test with you in the initial stages. For example, we could partner on perhaps just 1, 2, or 3 products/listings right from the outset. Once you are comfortable with the relationship, the number of products we partner on can grow as appropriate.

When you have an exclusive relationship with Joyhome Brand Team as your 3rd party seller, we treat every product listing like we own it. Because we are the sole authorized seller on a given listing, we (and you) will directly benefit from the increase in sales resulting from our efforts to optimize and promote that product listing fully.

When there are multiple sellers on a listing, no single seller will bother to put that much effort into the product listing simply because any results achieved would have to be shared among every other seller. No seller wants to do all that work for so little reward.
